Beach treatment for my springtime sniffles.

Staying true to my commitment to frequent Sydney’s lovely beaches more, I headed to Clovelly to cure my case of the springtime sniffles. As much as I adore spring, I always seem to have severe sneezing episodes around this time of year. This year was no different.

Tucked between residential houses, Clovelly Beach embodies the perfect hybrid of harsh concrete line work and the fluidity of the ocean.

Against the sun, the waves beneath me scintillated vibrantly as the waves crashed. I’ve long admired the effortlessness of Australian light, as I have expressed countless times in previous stories on this space. I trotted around Clovelly for hours with my film camera, observing the way people carried on with ease. For a moment, time seemed to halt.
