We trek along the narrow pathway towards the sound of rushing water. The sun seeps between the leaves and cast golden silhouettes. Vein-like branches salute us as we walk past the lean trees, pointing us further down the cliff edge. Every now and then I catch a glimpse of the vast mountains beyond the woods. Everything is peaceful here. I hear birds, the crunching sound of crisp leaves flattening under the soles of my feet, the waterfall, my heartbeat pounding in my ears, the pulse of nature, the vibrancy of the sun. I feel whole with nature. I’m in my element. This is my nirvana.
